Thanks for letting me know about this! Unfortunately it looks like the NaNo site changed its code this year, which broke my word counters. I'm working on getting it fixed, but it will take a few days yet. You should see your counters update once I've gotten everything worked out. I'm glad you find them helpful--thanks again for letting me know about the problem!
